Berlin is a ‘no-brainer’ for British property buyers – or so says Saundra Satterlee in an article which appeared earlier this year in the UK daily newspaper the Telegraph.

This has certainly been the case for Next-Estate in Berlin which specializes in providing properties for international clients. But it has also found that the popularity for the bordering areas of Berlin Prenzlauer Berg and Berlin Friedrichshain are thriving just as much and interest sometimes even exceeds the interestfor Berlin Mitte.

However the tastes and preferences of German buyers coming from outside Berlin -mostly Hamburg and Munich- are not always the same as that of other international property investors.

There are some interesting photographs of on-going projects in the article- some of which are now already finished.

The article closes with the interesting fact that Berlin’s economy is actually growing faster than the accepted German average and concludes for its UK readers that if they are considering investing in overseas Real Estate, then Berlin should be considered as one of their primary property buying destinations.
