The historic building has been constructed around 1890 in traditional solid brickwork with wooden beam ceilings. The 22 units are distributed over ground floor, mezzanine floor and three upper floors in the front building and the two side wings. The inner courtyard opens onto the Jewish cemetery. The so-called “Judengang” in between the buildings and the cemetery can only be entered by the residents of the surrounding houses. Around 2008, the entire building was projected and brought into its current and modern form: The attic was rebuilt on two levels, all apartments received balconies, the windows were enlarged and replaced by wooden insulated glass windows, staircases and facade were redesigned.
